Parent Technology Resources

HCPSS Connect Parent Resources: Provides HCPSS Connect—including Synergy, Canvas, and Family File—guides and videos for parents. 

Lightspeed Parent Portal: Parents/guardians may sign up to receive automated weekly emails on Sunday summarizing their student’s HCPSS Chromebook internet usage. 

The automated weekly email also contains an option to sign up for the Lightspeed Parent Portal, which provides near real-time information on a student’s HCPSS Chromebook internet activity and offers the ability to pause web browsing when not on the HCPSS network.

1) Clear cache & cookies

2) Check to make sure Chrome is updated

3) Shut down your device and then restart it
