We recognize that creating a safe learning environment is a critical part of helping each child achieve academic success. Incidences of bullying may be reported using a printable form or through HCPSS Sprigeo, an online reporting system.

The HCPSS Online School Payment (OSP) website is where parents are able to pay for student school activities and fees by debit or credit card online using a secure web browser at their convenience, 24 hours a day. Please note that OSMS, Inc. charges a 4% handling fee for online purchases. To ensure that your payment is affiliated with your child, please take a moment in your account to enter your child's information to the "Student Profile" section under your account. ELMS will be accepting online payments for, field trips, memory books, PE uniforms, and other student obligations.

The Elkridge Food Pantry is a non-profit and totally volunteer run organization. We are located at the Good Samaritan Outreach Center in Elkridge. The pantry is here to serve all residents of Elkridge in both temporary and long-term need. We are open the second and fourth Friday of each month from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.

Providing a safe and healthy learning environment is our top priority at Elkridge Landing Middle. The Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) has been testing all schools for the presence of lead in school drinking water in compliance with a 2018 state regulation requiring testing in all Maryland schools. The lead testing complements HCPSS’ Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) program, which proactively maintains proper indoor environments. While science has not established a safe level of lead exposure, the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) recommends water outlets be taken out of service if the lead level exceeds 5 parts per billion (ppb). During a recent water sampling collection on October 19 and 20, 2022 at our school, six (6) fixtures had lead levels exceeding 5 ppb. When a water outlet is found to exceed the 5 ppb level, the outlet is closed immediately, and remedial actions are planned. Appropriate remedial actions can include evaluating the cause, and replacing the necessary fixture or plumbing. Students and staff will see the water outlet shut down while this work is completed. Please find the attached notice for more details. Test results can also be found on the HCPSS website, and a link to results will be added to our school website.
